James and Julene’s Enchanting, Boho Elopement in Perth

Boho perth elopement

We must admit that when we saw this elopement shoot we knew we’d have a hard time fitting all these beautiful pictures into one post! The series just gets more and more beautiful as you look through the photos.

This is an example of how elopements can be so special – all that this couple needed was a beautiful venue and each other.

Perth Elopement

This elopement took place in a pine forest in Perth, Australia. The location was perfectly suited for the bride & groom’s boho style

There’s so much we love about this elopement… but let’s start with the flower arrangements! These flowers simply prove that you don’t need to spend thousands decorating the inside of a chapel – a little color goes a long way!

Flowers can be an important part of your elopement, and they actually hold a lot of meaning. In the Victorian ages, flowers were used as a way of communicating love, so each flower represented a different meaning… and red roses are the ultimate symbol of love! Roses are an ideal choice because they’re affordable, they’re available just about year round, no matter where you are.

Moving on to the decor… James and Julene turned to Mother Nature herself for the decor, and the result was beautiful! As you can tell from the photos, the natural decor provides a fresh and organic feel to these pictures. We just love how they kept their decor clean and minimal – the surroundings themselves gave this elopement such a magical feel.

The couple ended their ceremony with a gorgeous photoshoot… and as we’ve heard from many, the photo shoots can actually end up being the most fun part of your elopement! This couple’s photos are proof that you don’t need much to create something beautiful! Dancing in the sunset, smoke bombs, ocean sunsets, tears of happiness and kisses on the beaches are just some of the special moments from this elopement shoot.

Need ideas for your photo shoot? Think about what you cherish most in your relationship and find ways to work this into your elopement shoot, because that will make it special and unique to you! If you personalize your photoshoot, you will enjoy getting to express yourselves, stay true to you, and create beautiful photos. Julene and James expressed their love in such a beautiful and authentic way. The photographer truly captured the essence of their love through these photos. Did anyone else shed a tear?!

These pictures are proof that an elopement photographer can truly capture your special moment! We’re so thankful that The Perth Elopement Co captured these special moments and shared them with us!

Can’t get enough of these? You’re in luck! The Perth Elopement Co even has their own elopement packages. Important legal things to keep in mind for a Perth elopement

So the fairytale idea of eloping is to just pack your bags and head off to your elopement, but this is obviously a little bit more tricky when you’re planning an overseas elopement where you’ll be a tourist. If you’re choosing Perth as your destination elopement, you’ll need to fill out a Notice of Intended Marriage, and for this to be approved, you’ll need to give the Perth Registry Office a month’s notice. The form will be filled out by you and your partner, as well as your officiant or proposed celebrant… and then you’ll just need to bring with you the standard legal documents, like your birth certificates, valid passports and of course your visa.
