Stunning Elopement Honeymoon Shoot in the Sunset of Maui, Hawaii

Elopement Honeymoon Shoot Hawaii Beach

Honeymoon shoots are wonderful in so many different ways and they don’t often get the admiration they deserve as the actual wedding day does. But think of it like this, Honeymoon shots capture the first moments of your marriage after all the glitz and glam; it’s your first moments of being a married couple.

They are also some of the most personal and intimate experiences that come with being a newlywed couple, and what better way to play on this intimacy than with a photo shoot. (A lot of the times couples are fearful of those awkward and posed pictures that tend to come along with photography, and that’s where professionals come into the picture). You don’t carry the burden of trying to capture the scenery (and somehow doing it justice) or worrying about getting a stranger to try to get the perfect couple shot to commemorate your marriage. With professional shoots, you’ve got access to beautiful pictures with great quality and there are also so many images to choose from (you’re guaranteed to find one that you both adore). And they know what they’re doing, too!

What we love about Honeymoon Photoshoots is how genuine and authentic they are; couples are able to remain totally present at the moment given the total intimacy of their relationship when they’re not surrounded by other people. It’s truly a moment for each other, with no interruptions or distractions and you can pretty much just express how much you guys love each other!

This honeymoon was in Olowalu, which is in Muai (Hawaii), I’m pretty sure we’re all dreaming of a honeymoon in Hawaii. It’s always so heartwarming to see couples in their element, and it’s too obvious not see how in love these two are.

Danielle and Louis DeSantis are two New Yorkers who are madly in love with each other. Danielle is an amazing wedding singer and just released her first single, “Hooked”. The couple had their wedding in their home time, and once all the wedding fun was done and dusted they headed to Maui for a beachy honeymoon. They decided on a honeymoon session that was different than the average beach photos, the shoot was filled with lots of love, laughs and playful moments.

Below is a lei po’o that is traditionally worn by the brides in Hawaiian weddings. When you’re eloping, getting married or simply honeymooning in a new country, it’s always memorable to adopt their customs. The couple picked up lei’s at a roadside stand and crafted them into a lei po’o.

This couple opted for a two-look photo shoot, one with casual simplicity and one to commemorate their marriage in a beautifully flowing white dress.

To finish it all over there was a magical sunset, which created the most beautiful lighting! The dusty pink makes this honeymoon photo shoot look like it’s straight out of a fairy tale!
